Our DSLR Photography for Beginners course in May was absolutely tropical! I had the loveliest of days with my delegates; it was the perfect opportunity to ask questions and get to know each other throughout the day.

We always start with delicious coffee at our photography course base at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham, where all our photography courses are hosted. Then, we ease into the morning with camera tours, getting to understand the menu system and taking photographs in the room on simple settings such as portrait and landscape. It gives the delegates a boost in confidence when they see that they aren’t going to break their cameras by using them and create some lovely images they may not have thought of before.

Next, we crank up the difficulty level and start looking at proper settings! From shutter speed, aperture, and depth of field – all the way up to manual. We take it easy by working to the delegates’ capabilities and don’t overload with information in one go. Every chapter of learning is supported with a practical session, and you can see some of those images created below.

We would love to have you join us for our next DSLR Photography for Beginners event coming soon. Keep an eye on our socials and our Eventbrite page.
